Be sure to check their calendar before your trip to snag tickets for a festival or a happy hour. Or you can head a little further to Kirby Cove for the famous swing.

The Ferry Building originally opened in the late 1800s to welcome travelers and immigrants to San Francisco, but after years of re-purposing, the historical space just reopened in 2003 as an indoor and outdoor marketplace. The building itself is beautiful, and also offers unobstructed views of the Bay Bridge.

The Riddler is the chicest champagne bar in San Francisco, so it should come as no surprise that it was founded, backed, and now staffed entirely by women. Classic black leather booths and black and white photos pair perfectly with the quirky quotes on the tables and dishware.

Just on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge are dozens of scenic lookout points across the bay in Sausalito, one of the best being the Point Bonita Lighthouse. Dating back to the mid 1800s, it was the last manned lighthouse on the California coast. The bay view combined with the historic landmark is a must-see!
