Summer fashion is a breath of fresh air after a long, cold winter — bright colors replace drab neutrals, and turtlenecks are replaced by flowy, airy tops. While we count down the days until we officially transition into warmer weather, it can make dressing for work a lot more challenging — nobody wants to be dripping sweat on their commute, but showing too much skin can take you on the fast track to a meeting with HR.
Most offices have some form of dress code. While some are more strict than others, most don’t allow tank tops or shorts, and many have summer footwear restrictions — which often includes no open-toed shoes.
