Introducing the Speakers for Our Everygirls Rise Conference in Atlanta

Our Everygirls Rise Conference in Atlanta is right around the corner, and we’re oh so excited to announce the fierce, inspiring women who will be speaking our on panel. Conference attendees will get to hear from these women in person (and ask them questions!)

Here’s who you’ll see in Atlanta:

 

Alaina began her own blog in 2008 and started The Everygirl in 2012, which has now expanded to an office space in Chicago and over 10 employees. She’s excited to speak on starting a business from scratch and how to scale as you grow.

 

Coco is a Nigerian native based in New York City and Atlanta, blogging as her side hustle while also working a full-time job in the corporate marketing world. She’s excited to speak on breaking into blogging and working your passion into a full schedule.

 

Catherine has worked in-house at Fortune 500 companies like Apple, Google, and now Facebook, while also building the corporate communications function from the ground up at several startups. She’s excited to speak on how to succeed in the corporate world.

 

Mattie is a wife, mom, and lifestyle influencer. She’s grown from running her blog as a side hustle to full-time and loves interacting and sharing with her online community. She’s excited to speak on how to start a blog and growing your passion into a full-time position.

 

Allyson started her blog while attending Texas A&M and working a full-time job. She landed The Everygirl’s first remote intern position in 2012 from a pool of hundreds of applicants and has worked her way to Editorial Director of The Everygirl Media Group. She’s excited to speak on transitioning from intern to employee and standing out in the workplace.

 

As Director of Marketing for La Marca Prosecco, Joyce drives the strategic development of the brand. She has never lost her fondness for learning consumer insights, developing brand strategy, fostering a team-work driven culture, and inspiring future leaders.  Joyce attended the University of California, Berkeley, studying Mass Communications and Public Policy. Throughout her education and life, Joyce has always been curious about the “whys” behind consumers’ behaviors, which is why she chose to pursue a career in marketing. Joyce’s family moved from Taiwan to the U.S. when she was three years old, and she is the first female in her family to obtain a college degree. A passionate world traveler, Joyce has visited over 20 countries and counting. She enjoys practicing yoga, spoiling her Frenchie fur baby and blogging in her free time. Outside of work, she writes for blog publications and is a certified life coach focused on helping others find purpose, passion & empowerment.
